The SoulSpace Series is an online guided experience that supports helping and healing professionals in weaving a practice of micro-self-care rituals unobtrusively into their everyday. Participants will be invited to sample bite-size practices that alleviate burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Because as a healer, YOU are your best instrument, so it’s imperative to stay nourished and aligned.
As part of Jamie’s workshop series, Everything You Wanted To Know About Group But Are Afraid To Ask, Jamie is pleased to offer this workshop pertaining to group issues for clinicians. Therapists, social workers, interns, trainees and students are welcome to attend. Each workshop will focus on a particular topic and include a brief educational overview, followed by questions and answers. Continuing education credits are available for MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs. In addition to this being a training opportunity it is also a space for clinicians to network and connect with each other.
This seminar will cover the topic Practical Matters: Group FAQs For Facilitators. Group leaders attend to a variety of details about how their group is run. Issues pertaining to format, style, boundaries and member agreements are amongst a myriad of topics. This workshop will offer an open forum to address how some of these issues are subjectively held as well as covering pros and cons.
